International Student Scholarship Eligibility

Category-A&B Scholarship

1) Applicants of International Student Scholarship must be non-Chinese nationals, in good health.
2) Education background and age limit:

• Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have master’s degree and be under the age of 40;
• Applicants for master degree studies must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35;
• Applicants for undergraduate studies must have completed senior high school and be under the age of 25.

3) Outstanding in academic study and daily performance.
4) Not been awarded any other Chinese government scholarships at the time of application.

Category-C Scholarship

1. International students that have already been at Tongji University for a year, that have not applied to suspend or extend studies in the previous year;
2. Respect the laws, and regulation of the government of the P.R.C and Tongji university.
3. A diligent and industrious attitude to studies, excellent grades.
4. Actively participates in the volunteer and social activities held by the University, Department and District;
5. Not been awarded any other Chinese government scholarships at the time of application.

International Student Scholarship Application Procedure and Requirement

Online at www.studyintongji.com and then submit the printed version with the following materials:

1.  The Application Form (including application materials mentioned above) and registration fee (410RMB)must be arrived at the International Student Office of Tongji University before June 20, each year.
2. Two copies of the Shanghai Government International Student Scholarship Application Form.
3. Category-A&B International Student Scholarship applicants should provide the following materials:

•  Highest diploma (notarized photocopy) and transcripts, in Chinese or English.
• Study arrange in Chinese. info like basic personal info, education background, operating expertise, and interested analysis comes and analysis arrange if were accepted because the doctoral student ought to be included. (undergraduate: no but 700 words; Master: no but a thousand words; Doctor: no but 1500 words)
